A shaded family home organised around a living courtyard, where pale oak furniture brings softness to the architecture’s stone and lime surfaces.
The Challenge
The pieces needed to feel light within compact rooms while standing up to everyday family use and Ho Chi Minh City’s humid climate.
The Design
We developed slim profiles, rounded touchpoints and discreet storage. Repeated oak details connect the living, dining and private rooms without making them feel matched.
Materials
FSC white oak, natural linen, honed local stone and water-based finishes selected for low emissions and easy maintenance.
The Process
STANDYHOME coordinated room-by-room prototypes with the architect, then managed full-scale refinement, partner production and staged installation.
Final Result
A calm, tactile interior that feels settled rather than styled—made to change naturally with the family over time.
